DRIVING QUESTION:

What does the Bible say about the big challenges teens face?

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Students will come up with their own topic of a challenging issue that teens face. They will use the Bible as a practical resource to address the issue. They will then present their findings in the form of a Public Service Announcement (PSA) pamphlet that can be posted in the hallways. They will also give a news desk report to the grade 5/6 classes. Their final submission will be a written reflection of the issue, research and project.

CONNECTIONS AND PERSPECTIVES:

This project will foster a positive school community as Biblical values are being shared with students and staff on current issues that teens struggle with. It will also create a space for some vulnerable sharing and, perhaps, healing.
