How does God bring beauty to the world?

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Students will explore how God loves them and how they are special in God’s eyes. Throughout the first part of the year, children will experiment with different art mediums while studying the Creation story and God’s promises. Their first project will be to share an art activity with the Kindergarten class about his/her personal story of who they are, giving them choice of two types of artwork using two different mediums. The second project will be shared in a public place such as the art gallery, library or senior’s home with emphasis on showing “What is God’s love?”, using any art medium and any form that was practiced in previous months.

CONNECTIONS AND PERSPECTIVES:

Missions are a vital part of our school community and this is a simple way students can share God’s love within their school community and out to the larger community.
