How can we use art to share pieces of our story?

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Students will have a chance to look at how artists share elements of their story through research and examination of art work. They will compile their learning into a slide show to present to the class. Students will then use this experience to reflect elements of their story in their own pieces of art.

CONNECTIONS AND PERSPECTIVES:

Our mission statement includes a line about equipping students to discover their gifts; this project is one way of allowing students to explore and cultivate their artistic giftings.
