DRIVING QUESTION:

What story is the Bible telling?

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The students will work through several different protocols and discuss what is a Christian. They students will explore the concept of the Bible being one story; a story that they are part of. The students will be given a situation where they are asked to share the message of the Bible with someone who has never heard about the Bible. They will work together in groups to put together a 10 slide/paper presentation to share their message, including a personal side and using 1 Peter 3:15 as their text. As a finished project, students will present to individuals from different faith communities and pastors from their home churches and field questions and comments that result from the presentation.

CONNECTIONS AND PERSPECTIVES:

Students will engage their minds by putting some thought behind their faith and ideally making it their own.
