PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Students will begin by defining what is “cool” and which elements of “cool” are timeless. Students will generate interview questions for an interview subject of their choice. Students will go over the first transcript and then individually generate questions for a second interview. Students will turn that information into an artifact to symbolize their subject. Ideally, students will reflect on how their perception of their interview subject changed throughout the process. They will do a short oral presentation summarizing the interviews and presenting the artifact/symbol.

CONNECTIONS AND PERSPECTIVES:

This interview series will hopefully help students communicate with someone on a level they may not usually communicate at. The hope is that by exposing them to a different perspective, theirs will expand as well.  And who knows?  Perhaps they’ll get along better with their parents.
