PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Our school theme this year is I can do all things through Christ, this and the timing of the Fred Rogers movie inspired me to think about being a good neighbour. I will be discussing with the class what is a neighbour, what would we want in a neighbour and what makes a good neighbour? Once we learn about our neighbours, we can decide how we want to interact with our neighbours. The students will be divided into groups and they will brainstorm places and people in our neighbourhood. Then as a class we will decide which places/ people we would like to interview/ visit. Once we do that we will be able to look for a need or a place where we can spread joy and be good neighbours. The end project will be a cumulation of 2 or 3 projects where the students will show Christ acting through them.

CONNECTIONS AND PERSPECTIVES:
It is directly related to our school Theme and is a service based project. Schools, parents, and the community should work together to promote the health, well being, and learning of all students.
