How can we preserve the history of the Dasmesh School and digitize resources and archives which can be accessed easily?

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Dasmesh Punjabi school started in 1986 with 11 students. This year, to accommodate growing number of students, DPS is building a new campus for grade 8-12 students. As a launch event, a museum curator from a local museum will come to speak with the students about the work they do.  Students will engage in small groups, considering their strengths, and work on various digital productions and presentation projects to preserve DPS archives and history. Students will learn curricular competencies skills, strategies, project management and process.

CONNECTIONS AND PERSPECTIVES:

Dasmesh school is based on Sikh faith and cultural values. This project will help students understand how to preserve your roots and promote school values in the community.
