How does energy transformation affect your world and surroundings?

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Students pick a letter of the alphabet and a topic of interest (eg. B for Black Bears) and are to research and find out how energy is transformed and conserved in the topic of interest. They will learn the basics of the Law of Conservation of Energy and skills like how to create scientific drawings. Students will compile all their pages into one book that will be posted to the wider school community on our school display web-page, as well as posting in the Grade 9 Science course for interest reading. This is designed as an on-line project for a DL school.

CONNECTIONS AND PERSPECTIVES:

Ideally this project will draw students to realized that God has created everything with a purpose and nothing is wasted.
